Warm greetings from India!
We pray and hope that all of you are doing well.
God has been our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. We have escaped like a bird from the snare of the fowler; the net is torn, and we have slipped away.
Due to Coronavirus, our entire country has been locked down and we have been asked to stay inside our homes for nearly 3 to 4 months. Though we are not permitted to go out much, we were allowed to get our groceries and provisions from the market. It was last month, they allowed people to go for work.
Church buildings and religious places are still closed down. Praise God, we are still able to connect with all our believers online. Nearly two months, We connected with our church believers through zoom every day for our morning devotion for 45 mins. We also connected for regular bible studies and worship services.
Due to the lockdown in our country, people couldn’t go for work as a result they were not able to meet their daily needs. We had identified nearly 35 families in two communities and we provided groceries and vegetables so that they would be able to eat three square meals a day for two months. I have enclosed a few pictures.
We also helped 12 struggling village pastors with cash gifts so to take care of their basic needs of the family. These are the pastors who live in rural places without anyone’s support.
We want to thank you for the support sent in April and with that we could help a few pastors and families. Please do continue to pray for our church and our ministry. This has been a tough time for a few families in our church.
Please do join me in praising God for God's healing upon two families in our church who were infected with Covid 19, the Lord has healed them miraculously.
It’s our prayer that the Lord would continue to keep you all safe.
A thousand may fall at your side, and ten thousand at your right hand, but it shall not come near you. No evil shall befall you, Nor shall any plague come near your dwelling (Psalm 91).
May the Lord cover all of you with his feathers and under His wings you shall take refuge. He shall keep you safe from all hidden dangers and from all deadly diseases.
